This item is 9-10 inches long.
This price is for one smudge stick.
Each Smudge ingredient is harvested from my personal organic gardens in the traditional ways of the Native Americans. They are then bound with the traditional red cording, blessed as traditionally done to aid you in your sacred work. All of my smudge sticks are pictured freshly made and do shrink slightly as they dry. They do ship fresh and will need additional time to dry in your home.
~White Sage is for Cleansing and Purification.
White Sage is considered sacred by many Native Americans. White sage is believed to cleanse a space of any evil spirits or 'negative' energies that may be present. This power is said to be released from the plant by the burning of the leaves, which are typically bundled into a wand or stick. Today many Native American tribes still use the stems and leaves for smudging as part of purification ceremonies.
~Lavender brings a positive energy, opens the heart chakra, calms the mind, releases fear while being effective at soothing the nervous system. Lavender has powers of protection, calming and cleansing.
Rosemary - Rosemary brings about mental clarity and protection by allowing you to ’let go’ of any negative thoughts/programs you have been holding on to and deals with the mind/mental aspect of your being.
Rosemary releases healing and clearing energies. Burn this rosemary to uplift both your body and spirit, clearing physical illness and healing the inner self. Use it to cleanse, to release, and to purify every inch of yourself and your spaces, sacred or otherwise. The scent of rosemary will clear your mind, making it perfect for use before meditation.
~How to Smudge~
For herbal bundles simply light the end on fire. Allow the bundle to burn for a moment and blow out the flame. The herb bundle will then smolder producing the smoke used to cleanse. Use a shell or heat proof plate to catch the falling ash.
When your wand arrives open it promptly and hang it to finish drying. It should take a couple of weeks to finish before you can enjoy.
